A man is found semi-conscious due to a diabetic episode. He’s pulled from the car and treated as if drunk. In fairness, this is actually reasonable from the situation details given. However, when his medical condition comes to light, he finds himself still facing legal charges for drunkeness and resisting arrest, which doesn’t quite seem right to me

Site piratebay.org is no stranger to legal threats and face-offs, including being completely shut down briefly at least once (and I believe more than that) in the past. Facing another round of legal threats, those associated with the site are still not showing concern over the future of the site nor the people who run it

The Pirate Bay isn’t exactly quaking in its boots. The group has already stated it doesn’t believe that anything will come of Roswall’s legal threat and that it plans to stick around for a long time. That’s partially because over a year after Swedish police raided the site and confiscated a number of its servers, authorities still have nothing to show for it.

I shouldn’t even have to give safety guidance here, but if you are a gun owner, please, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t try the things you see in movies and on television - things like throwing a loaded gun to a friend might not turn out quite like it does on screen

Announcer for the London Tube (we call them subways) has been sacked for making mock announcements hosted on her own site which, among other things, poke fun at Americans and suggest at least some of the men on the Tube are perverts (for the record, they all are - she was just being cautious in her intimations)

To me, $350,000 each bond just doesn’t seem enough for people who abuse a 2-year-old by beating her, throwing her by her hair, and holding her underwater followed by throwing the body into a lake in a plastic container
Similarly, it doesn’t seem quite right that the penalty for beating one’s wife to death with a chin-up bar would only be 4.5-7 years
Another dangerous exploding battery - this one resulting in a death. Consider carrying your phone in your pants pocket so you just lose your naughty parts instead of your chest and heart in case of battery failure - turns out to be not true

What do you do when your mayor is a convicted sex offender who is required to remain at least 1000 feet from places where children congregate but his office in city hall is within 200 feet of a youth center? Guess he’ll just have to work from home for the remainder of his probation

Apparently, even after filing 8 false claims of rape, a young lady can avoid jail time if she seems to have mental problems (but don’t they all?)
