    There was a glow on the face of every Palm employee we saw today, and deservedly so: the new Palm Pre is a hail mary product. It’s probably going to save the company.

    And it is, in many ways, better than the iPhone.

    Here’s the TechNet link. Go to the gray box at the bottom of the page and chose between 32-bit and 64-bit to start the process. This page is part of Microsoft’s TechNet website, and the beta was released early to TechNet subscribers. So it is possible that this isn’t the official download link. However, users all over the web are reporting varying levels of success in getting the download to work. Most can’t get the links to work, though.
